39th Annual Spiritual and Religious Art of Utah

The 39th Annual Spiritual and Religious Art of Utah exhibition will be on display October 15, 2025 - January 7, 2026.


 

This exhibition will be juried online.  Accepted artworks will be announced on the SMA website.

  • Artists may submit one or two works of any medium or style.  (Each submission will be a separate form and we will take the two most recent entries under your name)
  • Artwork must have been completed in the past three years.
  • All works must be original in conception and execution.
  • Artwork must be prepared securely for display and must be prepared with a wire for hanging. Any artwork that requires hanging from ceiling or additional installation needs must notify SMA curatorial staff before submitting. 
  • Artwork cannot exceed 11ft. on its largest dimension and 2D pieces that hang on the wall cannot exceed 9 feet in height, unless prior approval is received by Museum staff. Artworks exceeding 150 pounds must be approved by SMA curatorial staff in advance. Advance notice must also be given for artworks over 7ft on their largest side. For any exceptions to size requirements please contact SMA staff.
  • Any digital media that is submitted must be accompanied with the necessary hardware and technology to exhibit the work.


 

The online submission form will be live July 21, 2025 through September 1, 2025. All entries must be submitted before 11:59pm on September 1, 2025.

Artwork will be juried by a panel of judges digitally.  More info on the jurors can be found on our website (opens in new window).  A list of accepted entries will be posted on September 15th before 5pm. Accepted entries must be brought to the Springville Museum of Art between Thursday, September 25th - Saturday, September 27th, 2025 between 10am-5pm.
