Call for Art: Youth Art Submissions

Ends on

Introduction

Springville Public Art is pleased to announce an open call for youth artwork to be included in a community public art project—the Art Loops. We invite young artists under the age of 18 to submit original artwork. This initiative aims to celebrate creativity and encourage artistic expression among youth while enhancing public spaces with meaningful and inspiring artwork.

Eligibility

This opportunity is open to youth under the age of 18 residing in Springville, Utah. Artwork must be original and created by the youth artist.

Project Description

This project aims to highlight the creativity of local youth, foster community engagement, and beautify public spaces. Artworks from various mediums, such as painting, drawing, digital art, etc., are welcome for submission. The selected youth artwork will be incorporated into a larger community public arts installation called the Art Loops. Selected art from youth art submissions will be featured primarily in the Youth Walk section of the Art Loop. Possible uses include: vinyl wraps for utility boxes, public art installations, banners, flags, and temporary signage. Youth art may also be used as inspiration for artists creating mural or installation pieces.
